Do you have to lose weight before you start exercising?

People often ask if they have to lose weight to start exercising safely. 

The answer: No! Anyone can start moving more.

You Can Exercise If You’re Overweight!

Here’s something to remember: You don’t have to be fit to start training. Training is the thing that makes you fit. It’s like swimming lessons: You don’t learn to swim before taking lessons. You take lessons to learn.

Remember, when you see top athletes competing at elite levels – they’re incredible, but they also they treat their movement or sport as a full-time job. I bet exercise isn’t a full-time job for you – you already have one of those.
